When the world closes up shop during a pandemic, have-tools will voice act.

After many years of “that’ll do”, recording auditions in the open air, very suddenly that didn’t quite do anymore. So I hollowed out a space, bought some materials, upgraded my gear, warmed up my tools and got to work so that I could get back to work. Even though I was no stranger to recording from home, being New-Media bred and trained, the new-new standard required just a little bit more.

How much more…? Well…

Alright, Marc. That’s some hefty hardware with a solid connection and all the right doo-dads goin’ into the proper thingamabobs. But how clean is the sound in there?

It’s always kind of a work-in-progress, but it’s been solid enough to allow me to work with the likes of NYAV Post, Funimation/Crunchyroll, Cartoon Network (CN Studios), and Sound Cadence Studios. You can give the basic booth test a listen below or download it directly from the link.
